About Power Ampache 2
Power Ampache 2 is a music player for libraries hosted on Ampache, Nextcloud Music, and compatible servers. It can browse albums, artists, and songs, search across music and playlists, and create, edit, and share playlists. Smart playlists can be generated automatically, and a “Spin it!” action creates a playlist for the listener. The app also supports queueing and lyrics. Music can be streamed from a compatible server or downloaded and exported as files for offline use. Offline mode supports listening when there is no connection to the library server. Playback controls are available through media keys, notifications, and the lock screen. The interface offers light and dark themes, adaptive colors, and user-selected or created themes. Power Ampache 2 depends on a compatible music server for its library. The description states that FLAC support is planned, along with widgets, Android Auto, Android TV, and tablet-specific interface work; these should be treated as future or in-progress features, not current capabilities. It describes the app as ad-free and says user data is not collected and sold.
