About Power Button Tile
Power Button Tile adds up to three controls to Android’s Quick Settings panel: take a screenshot, lock the screen, or open the system power menu. These actions provide shortcuts to system functions that would otherwise require using hardware buttons or navigating through the device interface. The app uses Android’s accessibility service to perform the global actions. Screenshot and lock-screen actions require Android 9 or newer, while the power menu action is available on earlier supported versions. Users can add the controls they want to the Quick Settings layout and tap them as needed. Power Button Tile is intended for people who want quick access to these system actions from the notification shade. Accessibility access is required for the tiles to issue the actions, and the available functions depend on the Android version.
