About Punch-hole Download Progress
Punch-hole Download Progress is an Android module that draws an animated progress ring around the phone’s front-camera cutout while files are downloading. It hooks system download notifications and displays the progress as an overlay, giving users a visual indicator without opening the download manager. The ring’s colors, animation, and haptic feedback can be configured. An active-download counter can show how many downloads are in progress, and an optional speed label reports the current receiving rate. Rendering can account for battery saver mode. Separate calibration settings for each screen rotation adjust text and badge placement, and an optional vertical filename can be shown in landscape orientation. The module requires Android 9 or newer, LSPosed, and a Pixel or AOSP-based ROM. Other ROMs may not behave as expected. Because it integrates with system download notifications and draws around the camera cutout, compatibility depends on the device layout and system implementation. Punch-hole Download Progress is a visual customization for users who want download status presented around the camera opening. It does not replace the system download service; it changes how its notifications are represented on compatible devices.
