About Puro
Puro helps developers install and manage Flutter versions across projects. It allows multiple versions to be kept and used at the same time, either globally or on a per-project basis. This is useful when different codebases depend on different Flutter releases, since a developer can select the appropriate version for each project instead of changing one shared installation back and forth. The tool also supports downloading versions with reduced time, disk use, and bandwidth compared with the workflow it replaces, and it can configure IDE settings through a command. Together, version management and IDE configuration help keep a project’s development setup aligned with the Flutter version it needs.
