About Puzzle Grid
Puzzle Grid lets users draw and fill in grids for crosswords, Sudoku, and Battleship on a phone or tablet. Crossword grids can have any rectangular dimensions, and common symmetries make it quicker to draw a layout. Clues can be loaded as an image and highlighted so they remain visible next to the grid while solving. For Sudoku, the app supports undo and a ghost mode for testing possible entries without overwriting cells the user is confident about. It can automatically check for repeated numbers. Battleship grids also support undo and ghost mode, and the app tracks how many boats of each length remain and how many grid segments are marked in each row or column. Partially completed grids can be saved and reopened later. Autosave can preserve the current grid for the next time the app is opened. Puzzle Grid is intended for entering solutions digitally when paper is unavailable or inconvenient; its listed puzzle support is limited to the three grid types described.
