About Quick Search
Quick Search is an Android launcher and search tool that brings apps, files, contacts, calendar events, settings, and web results into one search field. App results use smart ranking and typo tolerance, while contact results can offer calling, texting, or messaging actions. The search also covers notes, folders, app settings, system settings, and shortcuts. More than 25 web search engines can be configured with custom shortcuts. Built-in tools can calculate expressions, convert units or currencies, show world clocks, and perform date calculations. Optional AI answers are available when the user supplies an API key. The app can be used as an overlay, widget, Quick Settings tile, or default launcher, and supports themes, dynamic colors, wallpapers, font sizing, and settings import or export. Search runs on the device by default. Network access is used only for features the user enables, such as web search, AI answers, and currency rates. Quick Search has no ads or analytics and provides granular permission controls.
