About Quick Shell
Quick Shell is an extension for PowerToys Command Palette that saves favorite project directories and opens them in a terminal. It can launch Windows Terminal, PowerShell, PowerShell 7, or Command Prompt, and can optionally run a command when opening a directory. Saving commonly used project folders provides a quick route from the command palette to a shell in the right working directory. Optional commands can automate a step that users commonly perform after opening a project. Quick Shell is intended for Windows developers who frequently move among project directories and use terminal tools. It provides a command-palette workflow for opening saved folders in a selected shell.
