About QuickSE

QuickSE is an Android utility for rooted devices that lets users inspect and change the device’s SELinux mode. It displays the current status and can switch between Enforcing and Permissive modes. Users can also configure a preferred mode to be applied automatically at boot, schedule mode changes for a specific time, and receive notifications when the mode changes. The app includes a kernel inspector that presents low-level system information from device files. It can show kernel details, loaded modules, symbols, configuration, uptime, system load, CPU and memory information, and kernel logs. This gives users a place to review both SELinux state and a range of kernel-level details. QuickSE is intended for users who already have a rooted Android device and need direct controls over SELinux settings. Its scheduled and boot-time options automate changes, while status notifications provide feedback about when those changes occur. The listed controls affect system security configuration, so they are aimed at users familiar with rooted-device administration.
