About QuickTiles
QuickTiles adds customizable actions to Android’s Quick Settings panel. Tiles can control media, show the volume panel, adjust brightness, change volume modes, or set screen timeout. Other tiles open apps and settings, create a calendar event, timer, or alarm, take a photo or screenshot, lock the screen, force rotation, start split-screen mode, or show battery level. The app also includes system-focused shortcuts such as toggling USB debugging, opening developer options, changing animation settings, and keeping the screen on. A counter tile is available as well. QuickTiles is open source and is intended to reduce the steps needed to reach common actions by placing them in the quick settings area. Some actions require Android permissions or system access relevant to the control being performed; the range of available controls makes it a utility for users who want quick access to device functions.
