About Raccoon

Raccoon is a mobile client for social networks in the Fediverse, including Friendica and Mastodon. It can show local, federated, followed, and custom timelines, and supports long posts with formatting, titles, and spoilers. Users can save drafts, schedule posts, manage multiple accounts, and attach media with alt text. A simplified horizontal browsing mode and a conventional vertical timeline are both available. The app includes direct messages, circles and lists, topic views for ActivityPub groups, RSS-based blog feeds, and an integrated event calendar. Users can explore public timelines without signing in, follow suggestions and trending topics, manage follow requests, and report or moderate content. Posts can be edited, deleted, translated, muted, blocked, or filtered using custom terms. Raccoon is intended for people using compatible federated services. Available actions depend on the server and account permissions. Some features, such as polls, have limited support on certain platforms, so behavior can differ between services.
