About RacketGhost
RacketGhost is a training coach for ghosting drills in squash, badminton, and racketlon. Ghosting involves moving around the court to practice footwork and build stamina without a ball or shuttle. The app provides a source of randomized movement prompts, addressing the difficulty of practicing alone when a coach or partner is not available to call out the next court position. To use it, a player configures a session, places the phone in front of them on the court, and starts the drill. The app then supplies the changing directions for the exercise, letting the player move between court areas without needing another person to choose the sequence. Its role is to guide the order of movements during a solo practice session. RacketGhost is focused on this specific court-movement exercise rather than full match scoring or general fitness tracking. It gives racket-sport players a way to add variety to footwork practice and conduct a session independently.
