About Radarr
Radarr is a movie collection manager for people who use Usenet or BitTorrent sources. It can monitor multiple RSS feeds for new movies and work with download clients and indexers to acquire, sort, and rename files for a library. The application can also monitor the quality of existing files and upgrade them when a better-quality format becomes available. This helps keep a movie collection organized while reducing manual checking for new releases or improved copies. Radarr supports only one version of a given movie in an instance; users who want separate versions, such as 4K and 1080p, need separate instances. Radarr is intended for users who automate the organization of a movie library around Usenet or BitTorrent sources. Its workflow connects release discovery, acquisition, file organization, and optional quality upgrades.
