About Rechenzwerge

Rechenzwerge is an Android practice app for preschool and elementary-school mathematics. Older children can work with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using number ranges up to 10, 20, 100, or 1,000. Practice sessions can contain 10, 50, or 100 tasks, and when a learner makes a mistake the app allows another attempt or displays the solution. A separate counting mode is designed for younger children who are not yet reading numbers. It asks them to count quantities up to 5, 10, or 20 and answer by tapping dice faces rather than digits. Learners can choose between dice pips and a counting board. To add a playful element, users can build a mascot by choosing colors, a head, and accessories. The app is described as having no ads, tracking, or special permissions, and practice data stays on the device. Rechenzwerge combines adjustable arithmetic practice with a visual counting activity, letting families choose exercises suited to different early-learning stages.
