About Red Moon
Red Moon applies a screen filter for nighttime phone use. It changes screen color and can dim brightness below the normal minimum, with controls for filter color, intensity, and dim level. Users can choose built-in profiles or create their own. The filter can be scheduled from sunset to sunrise or for custom times. It can pause automatically in apps that are protected against overlays or in apps selected by the user. Controls are available through a notification, a Quick Settings tile on Android 7.0 and later, or a home-screen widget. Red Moon requires permission to draw over other apps and modify system settings to apply its color and brightness changes. Approximate location is used only when scheduling by sunrise and sunset, and startup permission restores the previous filter state after reboot. The app is a display filter and dimmer; the supplied information does not establish medical effects on sleep.
