About ReFra
ReFra is an Android gallery for browsing and organizing photos and videos. A date-grouped timeline can be viewed as a grid or mosaic, with related RAW and JPEG pairs, burst shots, and edited copies grouped together. Albums can be sorted, pinned, organized into collections, merged by name, and browsed with multi-select actions. A metadata viewer exposes photo and video details, while search can filter by category, location, media type, camera model, or special modes such as night shots and long exposures. The gallery includes viewers for 360-degree panoramas and photospheres, navigable by touch or gyroscope, and can play motion photos from supported formats. A built-in editor supports markup, cropping, filters, and edit backups. Videos have a custom player with frame-accurate seeking. Media can be cast to devices on the local network, with device discovery and playback controls. Optional on-device image classification supports customizable categories, natural-language search, and similarity search; additional models can be downloaded when needed. A location map groups geotagged photos. An encrypted vault with password or biometric access provides a separate area for selected media. Themes can be customized with preset or wallpaper-derived color palettes. ReFra is an open-source gallery focused on rich local media browsing and organization. The evidence identifies auto-contrast enhancement as beta and says optional AI models are installed on demand. It does not specify which camera formats or casting devices are supported.
