Remind Me! schedules a full alarm for a specific date and time in the future. It is intended for events that need a strong audible alert rather than a notification that may be missed. Users choose when the alarm should occur, and the app opens its alarm screen when that time arrives. The app uses a brief system overlay to launch the alarm activity from the background, since Android restricts starting an activity directly in that situation. Remind Me! is focused on one-off future alarms rather than ordinary notification reminders. It can be used for a future appointment or event when a normal reminder would be too easy to miss.
