ResourcesExtract scans executable and library files for embedded resources and extracts them to a chosen folder. It can recover items such as bitmaps, icons, cursors, AVI clips, and HTML files from EXE, DLL, or OCX files. Users can run it through a graphical interface or from the command line, making the same extraction workflow available for manual inspection or automation. This is useful for examining the assets bundled with a Windows program without launching it. ResourcesExtract focuses on extracting embedded resources; it does not decompile application logic or edit the original file. The output depends on which resources are stored inside the selected file.
