About ReteKey

ReteKey is an Android keyboard for Korean input and technical workflows that need keys commonly missing from phone keyboards. It includes Esc, Tab, Ctrl, Alt, Meta, function keys, arrows, Home and End, page navigation, Insert, forward delete, and Print Screen. Modifier chords are sent as key events so apps can receive shortcuts, and Ctrl-letter combinations can send control codes to a terminal. The keyboard supports Korean layouts including 2-beolsik, Cheonjiin, and Naratgeul, alongside QWERTY, Dvorak, Colemak, and many other language layouts. It also supports Japanese input, a symbols page, an arrow and function-key keypad, and Hanja conversion. Physical keyboards can compose Hangul through the same input system, and the on-screen keyboard can hide while hardware input is attached. Users can customize layout order, height, floating-panel size and opacity, and key feedback. ReteKey has no network access or analytics and supports light and dark themes. It is intended for Korean typing, multilingual input, and mobile use with terminals or editors that benefit from full keyboard commands.
