About Scrunch
Scrunch plays a short sound when a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold phone is folded or unfolded. Users can set the playback volume, and the app respects silent mode and Do Not Disturb settings so the hinge sound effect follows the phone’s existing sound state. The app was tested on a Galaxy Z Fold 3 and is expected by its description to work on other Fold models. Its role is deliberately narrow: respond to the device’s folding state with a chosen-volume sound. The evidence does not list sound choices, customization beyond volume, or compatibility with non-folding phones. Scrunch is intended for owners of compatible foldable devices who want audible feedback when opening and closing the phone. Availability depends on the device exposing the fold state in a way the app supports; the supplied information only confirms testing on one Fold model.
