About SeaMonkey
SeaMonkey is an all-in-one internet application suite that combines several tools commonly used for web work. It includes a browser, email and newsgroup clients, a feed reader, IRC chat, an HTML editor, and web-development tools. Keeping these functions in one application lets users move between browsing, communication, and editing web pages within a shared suite. The HTML editor and development tools make it relevant to people who work with website content as well as users who want integrated communication clients. Its design follows the integrated-suite model rather than separating every task into an individual application. SeaMonkey is developed as an open-source project and uses the Gecko browser engine.
