About Search Deflector
Search Deflector redirects searches initiated from the Windows Start menu or Cortana to a browser and search engine chosen by the user. It gives users control over where these system searches open, allowing the preferred browser and search service to handle them. The utility is useful for people who want Windows search actions to use their existing browser and search preferences. It changes the destination of searches launched from the system interface without replacing the Start menu itself. Search Deflector is a small system utility focused on redirecting Start-menu and Cortana searches. Its purpose is to let users select the browser and search engine associated with those searches.
