About Shikaku

Shikaku is a grid-based logic puzzle in which the player divides the board into rectangular or square regions. Each region must contain exactly one numbered cell, and its area—the number of cells it covers—must equal that number. The regions cannot overlap, and together they must cover every cell on the board. The player draws regions by dragging across cells, using the numbers to determine where each rectangle can fit. Shikaku generates puzzles procedurally and offers multiple grid sizes, so the challenge can continue beyond a fixed set of levels. The game works offline and is described as having no ads, trackers, analytics, or telemetry.
