About ShockAlarm

ShockAlarm is a mobile client for managing compatible OpenShock devices. It can manage devices, hubs, logs, shares, share links, and API tokens through the connected service. The app also supports creating alarms and controlling multiple compatible devices at once. Additional controls can randomize the intensity, duration, or delay of an alarm within configured intervals. A Material You interface organizes the controls, and the app separates a user’s own devices from devices that have been shared with them. Information buttons provide explanations for some settings and controls. ShockAlarm connects to a hosted OpenShock service by default and can also be configured to use a self-hosted instance. It is a client for that device and account ecosystem rather than a standalone controller. Its functions depend on compatible hardware and a configured service instance.
