skiagram is a local command-line and text-interface tool for analyzing token usage by AI coding assistants. It examines local usage data across Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and Copilot CLI, helping show where tokens were spent and why a context window filled up. It deduplicates token counts found on disk, attributes thinking tokens, and separates the cost of cache reads from cache creation. Users can inspect detailed breakdowns through drill-down views or export a flamegraph, a visualization that helps reveal which activities account for the most usage. The program is distributed as a single binary and processes its analysis locally. skiagram is intended for developers who want to understand and compare the token consumption of their coding-agent sessions. Its summaries connect usage totals with categories and cache behavior, giving users a way to investigate unusually high consumption.
