About Sleep Noise
Sleep Noise plays one of four generated sounds: masking noise, pink noise, white noise, or brown noise. The sounds are generated on the phone while playing rather than looped from a recording. Playback begins when the app opens and can continue with the screen off or the app closed. A sleep timer can stop playback after a selected interval and fades the volume during the final minute. The app can be controlled from its notification or a headphone button. The notification can pause playback, change the sound, or add ten minutes to the timer. The app maintains its own volume setting. An optional Do Not Disturb feature turns DND on during playback and restores it when playback stops, while retaining alarm exceptions.
