About SnmpLens
SnmpLens is an SNMP monitoring and management utility for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It can browse management information bases (MIBs), query and update object identifiers (OIDs), receive traps and INFORM notifications, and chart polled values over time. SNMP is a standard for querying and managing network devices, while MIBs describe the information those devices expose. The application supports SNMP versions 1, 2c, and 3. It can render indexed conceptual tables as tables, edit MIBs with diagnostics, and route alerts to a syslog server, webhook, or email. Alert delivery supports UDP, TCP, and TLS syslog connections. SnmpLens runs as a native binary without a separate runtime or monitoring agent. SnmpLens is useful for administrators who need to inspect network devices, monitor selected values, and respond to notifications. Its combination of browsing, polling, trap reception, charting, and alert routing provides a desktop workflow for SNMP-based network monitoring.
