Splitz

Splitz lets users pair two installed Android apps and launch them together in split-screen mode.

About Splitz

Splitz lets users pair two installed Android apps and launch them together in split-screen mode. Pairs can be opened from the app or a home-screen shortcut, and favorite pairs can be organized into custom folders. This is useful for repeated combinations, such as keeping a reference app beside a note-taking app, without manually opening and arranging each one every time. To place both apps automatically in Android’s native split-screen view, Splitz requires the Accessibility Service to be enabled. The description says this service is used only to automate split-screen placement; it does not read screen contents, monitor keystrokes, or transmit information. If the service is not enabled, Splitz can still open the two selected apps sequentially, but cannot arrange them into split screen automatically. Splitz works offline and does not request internet access. The key practical distinction is whether the Accessibility Service is granted: with it, a saved pair can be arranged in one action; without it, the apps still launch but require manual placement. The evidence describes pairing and folder organization, but not support for every device’s multitasking behavior.
