About SPRAWL//RUN
SPRAWL//RUN is a running tracker that combines workout logging with a cyberpunk story. It contains two campaigns with ten missions each, and each mission can be set to a time or distance target. The narrative adjusts to the chosen target: completing it clears the operation, while stopping early leaves it available to try again. Story dialogue is delivered through synthesized character voices, which briefly lower the volume of the runner’s music and then restore it. Some missions include a pursuit that challenges the runner to beat their own pace from the previous few minutes. Pursuits can be turned off. The app announces each kilometer or mile with split and total time, and a run can be paused, resumed, or stopped from a notification. Runs continue if the app is swiped away, and are retained if the process stops. Alongside the campaigns, the app can send scheduled handler reminders and optional ambient story messages. Messages, runs, achievements, and story information appear in a single feed. Weekly debriefs compare activity with the runner’s own target. Statistics cover distance, duration, calories, and completed missions by day, week, and month, with a full run log, long-term charts, and a calendar view. Each run records a GPS route that can be replayed and exported as GPX. The profile, progress, achievements, story entries, and run traces can be exported as JSON and restored or merged on another device. SPRAWL//RUN works offline and is designed to make running progress part of an interactive story rather than a plain activity list.
