About Stims
Stims keeps the Android screen awake while selected apps are active in the foreground. Users choose which apps should prevent the display from turning off, then activate the selection. A background service watches which app is currently in use and holds a wake lock while one of the chosen apps is active. When the user switches to an app that is not selected, normal screen-sleep behavior resumes. This makes Stims useful for apps that need to remain visible during use, without changing the screen behavior for every app on the device. The app requires Usage Access permission to determine which app is in the foreground. Its function depends on this permission and on the background monitoring service. The product description does not identify a fixed list of supported apps, nor does it claim to control other power settings. Its scope is specifically screen-awake behavior tied to selected foreground apps.
