About Stript
Stript anonymizes personal information in documents before they are used with AI tools. It detects personal data and replaces it with consistent pseudonyms, so references to the same person or detail remain consistent within the prepared document. After the AI response is returned, the application restores the original information. The workflow helps reduce exposure of identifying details while preserving enough context for an AI tool to process the document. Because the substitutions are consistent, a response can refer to the pseudonyms and still be mapped back to the originals locally. The application runs entirely on the user’s machine. Stript is intended for people who want to prepare documents for AI-assisted work without sending original personal data in the prompt. It focuses on document anonymization and restoration, with processing kept local.
