About Substrate
Substrate generates raster slide decks from prompts. Each slide is created using an image model, and the design is controlled through two editable prompts: a per-slide prompt and a deck-level prompt that establishes the overall design. Both prompts can be co-authored by a person in the interface or by an agent through Model Context Protocol. This makes the prompts the main editable inputs, while the resulting slides are rendered as images rather than as conventional text-and-shape presentation elements. Substrate is intended for people who want to create visual slide decks from image-generation instructions. Its workflow centers on refining the prompts that guide each slide and the deck's overall look.
