About Sun Piano
Sun Piano is an Android piano and synthesizer with a full 88-key keyboard. Its sound is generated in real time rather than downloaded as samples, and it offers eight instruments, including piano, organ, strings, harpsichord, marimba, and synthesizer. The keyboard supports multitouch and glissando, and note loudness responds to where a finger touches a key. Users can show note names as letters or solfège, adjust the visible key range, transpose, and change tuning. A metronome includes tempo, time signature, tap tempo, and a beat indicator. Players can record performances and replay them later; recordings retain instrument changes and settings such as tuning. Recordings can be shared as M4A audio or standard MIDI files, and MIDI files can be imported with tracks, tempo changes, and sustain pedal data. The app also connects to USB and Bluetooth LE MIDI keyboards and supports playing from a computer keyboard. It is described as free software with no ads, tracking, or internet access.
