About Suntimes
Suntimes tracks approximate sun and moon times and combines them with clocks, alarms, widgets, and Quick Settings tiles. It can show system time, apparent solar time, local mean time, UTC, or sidereal time. Other displays include sunrise and sunset, civil, nautical, and astronomical twilight, blue and golden hour, moonrise and moonset, lunar phases and illumination, solstices, equinoxes, and cross-quarter days. A day-and-night world map and graphs show yearly sunlight and sun altitude. The alarm tools include ordinary alarms, repeating sunrise or sunset alarms, bedtime alarms, and gentle alarms that gradually adjust screen brightness, color, and volume. Additional options include snooze limits, math problems, NFC tags, and user-defined actions when alarms are triggered or dismissed. Location is optional; the app can work without network access, and reported times are approximate. Suntimes is suited to people who plan around daylight, twilight, or lunar events, or who want alarms tied to those times. Some features require permissions for location, exact alarms, notifications, or Do Not Disturb control. The supplied evidence describes extensive alarm options but does not guarantee delivery on every device; Android battery-management settings can affect background alarms.
