About Supertonic TTS
Supertonic TTS is an Android text-to-speech engine that synthesizes speech locally using ONNX models. It can be selected as a system TTS provider, making its voices available to other Android apps, or used directly from its own interface. Users can save generated speech as WAV files, manage requests in a history and queue, and define custom pronunciation rules for specific terms. The engine supports multiple languages, voices, and styles, and works offline after its models are available. A native Rust backend is used for inference, while the interface follows Material Design 3. Supertonic TTS is suited to users who need local speech synthesis across apps or want to generate and export spoken audio without sending text to an online service.
