About svelte-next
svelte-next automates Svelte project updates across multiple directories. It scans a target location for Svelte 5 or later projects, updates packages, runs installs, executes integration and end-to-end tests, and creates Git commits. The tool detects whether a project uses Bun, pnpm, Yarn or npm by examining its lock file, then uses the corresponding package workflow. This allows a batch of projects to be processed with one command while preserving each project’s package-manager setup. svelte-next is distributed as a static binary without runtime dependencies. It is intended for developers maintaining several Svelte projects who want updates, tests and commits handled consistently.
