About Termaxa
Termaxa is a safety gate for shell commands run by AI coding agents. Before a command executes, the tool can show a preview, apply an allow, ask, or deny policy, and record the decision in an audit log. Destructive commands are denied by default. For commands that require approval, Termaxa shows the potential blast radius and can make a backup before execution. This gives users a chance to understand a command's effect and preserve the affected state before allowing it to run. Automatic backups and command logs support later review. Termaxa is intended for developers who use coding agents capable of running shell commands and want control over those actions. It adds a review and policy layer between the agent's proposed command and the shell, with defaults that block destructive operations.
