About TigerSetup
TigerSetup is a command-line tool for building self-contained Windows installers. Users describe an application in a `TigerSetup.toml` file and run a build command to produce a `Setup.exe`. The generated installer includes a wizard, supports quiet installation for automation, and provides upgrade, repair, and uninstall operations without requiring runtime prerequisites on the target computer. The tool includes commands to inspect and verify the installer it has built. It installs for the current user by default, with an optional all-users installation that requires administrator approval. Adding the command-line tool to the current user’s PATH is optional. During uninstall, files added by the installation are removed except for files that have been modified after installation. TigerSetup supports both interactive installation and automated deployment through quiet mode. The supplied description does not specify the full set of installer customization options or application types supported.
