About Traditional T9
Traditional T9 is a twelve-key Android keyboard inspired by classic mobile phones. It provides predictive text entry in more than 40 languages and can be used on touchscreens, physical keypads, and television remotes. Configurable hotkeys, clipboard access, and undo and redo support help with editing as well as typing. The app focuses on compact keypad input rather than a full-size QWERTY keyboard. It is designed to work offline in its full form and does not include tracking, telemetry, ads, or data collection. A lighter edition can download dictionaries, and voice input may depend on the speech service available on the device. The supported language set is broad, including languages that use different scripts and input methods. Traditional T9 is useful for devices with limited keys, Android TV navigation, or users who prefer multi-tap and predictive keypad typing. It emphasizes text entry and privacy over features such as swipe typing, GIFs, or stickers.
