About Traintastic
Traintastic is open-source software for controlling and automating model railroads. It can operate locomotives, switches, and signals, and monitor feedback sensors and train-identification sensors such as RailCom and LiSSY. Users can draw a schematic layout of their railway and work with the control system through that representation. A built-in scripting engine provides an additional way to automate behavior. These capabilities support both manual control and more complex model-railroad setups. Traintastic is intended for model railroad hobbyists who want software control and automation for their layouts. Its combination of device control, sensor monitoring, layout drawing, and scripting connects the physical railway to a configurable computer system.
