About Transport Widgets
Transport Widgets places public-transport departure and arrival times on the Android home screen. It is designed for following buses, metro services, trains, and other transit without repeatedly opening a full journey-planning app. The widget can keep selected services or stops visible for quick reference. The app is open source and collects timetable information from public transport data sources. The description identifies broad international data coverage as well as additional data for London and rail services in Great Britain. Which routes and real-time details are available depends on the datasets and transport providers serving each area. Transport Widgets is intended as a compact glanceable display of transit times, rather than a general trip planner. The supplied evidence does not specify route search, disruption alerts, or support for every city, so local coverage should not be assumed. Its documented role is to surface live departure or arrival information through widgets.
