About Unmark
Unmark removes watermarks, logos, or other unwanted objects from photos by letting users paint over the area to be repaired. A manual brush with adjustable size marks the region, and an on-device nearest-fill and smoothing algorithm fills it in. The app does not use an AI model or upload images to a server. Users can undo the last stroke or reset the mask, and the original photo is never overwritten. Before saving, Unmark scans image metadata and strips fields such as EXIF and XMP, with a summary of what was found. Results can be saved to the gallery or shared directly. Unmark works offline and has no network permission, ads, trackers, analytics, or account requirement. It is intended for local photo cleanup with manual area selection and a simple inpainting method.
