Untracker

Untracker removes tracking information from links before they are shared.

About Untracker

Untracker removes tracking information from links before they are shared. Users can send a link to the app through Android’s share menu, let Untracker process it, then copy or share the cleaned result. A second workflow adds an “Untrack” action to the text-selection toolbar, allowing text containing a link to be processed directly. The app includes rules that determine which parts of links to remove. Users can manage existing rules or add their own using JavaScript code, which allows the cleanup behavior to be adjusted for different tracking parameters. The resulting link can then be copied or passed to another app through sharing. Untracker is a link-cleaning utility that sits between receiving a URL and forwarding it. The supplied information does not describe which tracking patterns are included by default or guarantee that all tracking parameters can be detected, so the available cleanup depends on the configured rules.
