About Url forwarder
Url forwarder lets users create filters that redirect a shared web link to another site or app. To use a filter, the user shares a link from another app and selects Url forwarder. The app presents matching filters in a dialog, and choosing one opens the transformed URL in an app that can handle it, usually a browser. This is similar to a browser bookmarklet: a link from the current page can be passed through a custom rule and sent to a destination that accepts the resulting URL. For example, a page address can be forwarded to a user-defined sharing site. The app uses Android’s share menu and intent filters to move the URL between apps. Url forwarder is a configurable link-routing utility rather than a bookmark collection or browser. Its behavior depends on the filters the user creates and on another app being able to handle the forwarded URL.
