About Video Live Wallpaper
Video Live Wallpaper lets users select a video or animated GIF stored on their device and set it as a looping live wallpaper. Files are chosen through Android’s system picker, and the app provides a muted looping preview before applying the wallpaper. Playback speed can be adjusted from quarter speed to double speed. Users can choose how the image scales to the screen: fill crops the content to cover the display, while fit shows the complete frame and may leave letterboxing. The same scaling choices are available in the preview and final wallpaper. Portrait videos are oriented correctly. Applying the wallpaper uses Android’s own live wallpaper picker, so the final selection follows the system’s wallpaper flow. Animated GIFs have two stated limitations: transparent areas appear black, and files larger than 50 MB are not supported. Android’s live wallpaper system applies the wallpaper to the home screen and lock screen together, although some device pickers may offer additional choices. The app contains no ads, analytics, tracking, or internet access. It stores only a local reference to the selected video or GIF. Video Live Wallpaper is a focused tool for turning existing media into a repeating background, with controls for preview, speed, and screen fitting.
