About Virtual Machine Manager

Virtual Machine Manager is a graphical tool for administering virtual machines running under KVM, Xen, or LXC. It can connect to virtualization hosts on the local computer or on remote machines. From the interface, users can start and stop virtual machines, add or remove virtual devices, and connect to either a graphical or serial console. The application also displays resource-usage statistics for existing virtual machines. It uses libvirt as its management interface, bringing common virtual-machine controls and monitoring into one place. This makes it useful for managing guest systems without entering each virtual machine’s host commands directly. A serial console offers text-based access, while a graphical console shows the virtual machine desktop.
