About Visual Studio / Code for Command Palette
Visual Studio / Code for Command Palette is a workspace launcher for people who work with both Visual Studio solutions and Visual Studio Code workspaces. It provides one interface for browsing those two kinds of development projects and opening the selected item. Users can use it to locate a solution or workspace and launch it from this shared starting point, instead of treating the two project formats as separate lists. The tool’s described role is to browse and open existing work, bringing the two supported project types into a single workflow. It is useful when moving among projects organized as Visual Studio solutions and projects organized as Visual Studio Code workspaces.
