About VoicePlus – Audiobook Player
VoicePlus is an audiobook player for files stored on an Android device. Users choose audiobook folders through the system file picker, then listen offline without creating an account. Playback resumes at the saved position for each book, and listeners can adjust speed, add bookmarks, boost volume, and set a sleep timer that can stop at the end of a chapter or reset after interaction. Lock-screen controls, media-button actions, Android Auto, and a resizable home-screen widget provide playback access in different situations. The library can be arranged as a grid or list with book-inspired covers, personal shelves, and manually grouped series. Users can edit titles and covers without changing the audio files, preserve those edits through rescans and portable backups, hide books without deleting them, and adjust chapter names or numbering. Character notes, a listening log, and on-device statistics add ways to keep track of reading progress. Progress and settings can be backed up and restored. The app stores the library and listening history locally and has no account, ads, analytics, or crash-reporting service. An optional cover search sends a title and author query to an external search provider only when the user chooses to use it; opening a result retrieves an image from its host.
