About Vovsoft Webcam Motion Detector
Vovsoft Webcam Motion Detector monitors USB webcams and IP cameras for movement. Users can adjust detection sensitivity, noise reduction, and the threshold required to trigger an event. Motion areas can be divided into a grid, allowing the application to consider how many neighboring areas have changed before responding. When movement is detected, the software can play an alarm sound or save a timestamped JPEG image to a selected folder. Camera feeds can be managed in a list, including network cameras configured by host and port. Visual filters such as emboss and edge effects can also be applied to the feed. Vovsoft Webcam Motion Detector is intended for unattended monitoring of an area using a connected camera. Its detection controls help tune how it responds to changes, while alerts and saved images provide a record of triggered events. The application supports both local USB cameras and network-based IP feeds.
