About Voxscribe - Offline Voice Input
Voxscribe is an offline voice-input keyboard for Android. Holding its microphone button records speech, and the recognized text is inserted into the focused text field. It uses an on-device model that the user supplies; the app does not include a speech model or require an internet connection. Users can switch between two favorite languages or enable automatic language detection. The keyboard supports light and dark themes and dynamic colors. Setup involves selecting a compatible model file, enabling the keyboard in Android settings, and granting microphone access. Voxscribe transcribes speech entirely on the device and does not request internet permission, so recorded audio is not sent to a web service.
