About Voyager
Voyager is an Android file manager for local storage and remote servers. Locally, it can copy, move, rename, delete, restore from trash, create files and folders, browse document-provider trees, and share one or more files through Android’s share sheet. It can show image, first-page PDF, and APK-icon thumbnails, open files in default or selected apps, and create or extract ZIP and several other archive formats with progress and cancellation. The app can find duplicate files by content, with configurable folder exclusions. External storage such as SD cards and USB drives appears alongside internal storage. Users can browse hidden files, sort by name, size, date, or type, see storage use, manage bookmarks, and switch among multiple local or remote sessions. Remote access supports SFTP, FTP, SMB/CIFS, and WebDAV. SFTP authentication can use passwords, keyboard-interactive login, or private keys; key pairs can be generated in the app. Files can be copied or moved between local storage and a remote server, and uploads and downloads show active names, counts, byte totals, progress, and speed. WebDAV can play audio and video directly when the server supports byte ranges, and HTTPS certificates are checked against Android’s trusted authorities. Voyager offers list, compact-list, and grid views, multiple themes, Material You colors, and a TV-friendly remote-navigation mode. It has no analytics or tracking; local browsing requires no internet access, and network connections are user-initiated.
